Ostrovit Omega 3 delivers a concentrated source of marine-derived fatty acids in a convenient softgel capsule. Each capsule provides 1000 mg of fish oil sourced from Peruvian anchovies, supplying 180 mg of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 120 mg of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) per serving — two of the most studied long-chain omega-3 fatty acids.
DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. These are authorised health claims under EU Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006, applicable at a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA combined.
