About STANLAB – Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) (1000 ml)

STANLAB Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) is a high-purity, single-ingredient chemical reagent supplied in a 1000 ml glass bottle. DMSO is a well-known organosulfur solvent widely used in laboratory, research and industrial applications due to its exceptional solvent properties and high degree of chemical purity.

The product is supplied as a clear liquid under normal storage conditions (above 18.5°C). Below this temperature it may crystallize; however, this is a natural physical characteristic of DMSO and does not affect its chemical properties or quality. Gentle warming above 20°C will restore it to its liquid state.

Flammability: Flammable when hot. Flash point: 87°C (closed cup). Autoignition temperature: 300–302°C. Explosion limits: lower 2.6% (V/V), upper 28.5% (V/V). Thermal decomposition occurs above 190°C. Keep away from open flames, heat sources and ignition sources when heated.

Crystallization: Below 18.5°C the product crystallizes; this does not affect product properties. Warm gently above 20°C to restore the liquid state.

Store above 18.5°C to maintain liquid state. The product is liquid above +20°C; below this temperature it may crystallize, which does not affect product properties. Store in the original tightly sealed glass bottle, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and open flames. Keep in a well-ventilated area.
